I’m Erin Haynes, and I am the creator behind this business. Everything is made in my home studio in Huntsville, AL. This is a one-woman operation, so I wear many hats: I make each piece by hand; glaze by hand; fire in my small kiln; photograph, measure, and prepare each piece for sale; create and upkeep the website; pack and ship everything to you; and anything else in between!

I currently live in Huntsville, Alabama. I am originally from Memphis, and I worked as an art teacher at a school in North Mississippi for 3 years. I now make pottery and other art media on the side of my full-time job here in Huntsville.

I studied art at the University of Southern Mississippi, where I graduated in 2019 with a Bachelors of Art degree. At USM, I focused primarily on art history, painting, and ceramics. I absolutely loved that school and my professors. I had never touched clay before I took a Ceramics 1 class as an elective. I fell in love with clay immediately and realized this is what I was meant to do.

My favorite thing about ceramics is how it can completely enhance your daily rituals. Sipping coffee in the morning from a beautiful handmade mug is just BETTER! There’s just something so special about holding a piece of art in your hands, warmed by your favorite coffee or tea. Ceramics just makes your every-day rituals feel indulgent.

Ceramics gives me the warm fuzzy feelings. My ultimate goal is to spread that joy to you and your home.
